- Stage Management
Back by popular demand, Kate Ceberano once again stole the night at the Pan Pacific Hotel Group’s annual client appreciation dinner coinciding with AIME 2015.
Although usually staged as a dinner event, PPHG decided to switch to a cocktail party this year. So just four weeks prior to the event the hunt was on to find a suitable venue within walking distance of the MCEC. Sake Restaurant and Bar, set on the riverbank beneath to Hamer Hall, ticked all the boxes providing an iconic location, amazing Japanese food, and allowing PPHG to exclusively brand the venue their own for the night.
Working in collaboration with PPGH event partners Staging Connections and CX Design, the Instinct team was challenged with transforming the restaurant space into a modern, funky party hub reflective of the PPGH brand. As always the biggest challenge was to make the venue work functionally, providing a warm sense of arrival, allowing food and beverage to flow perfectly to all guests, and most importantly creating a performance stage area suitable for a headline act.
By all accounts the event was an amazing success with many of the 200 guests congratulating the PPHG team for another highly memorable evening of relaxed relationship building. Our thanks go to Kate Ceberano for a brilliant intimate performance.
