Dilmah Brand Activation – Over view
The Dilmah facility incorporated two distinctly unique activation facilities: the Dilmah Real High Tea Marquee and the adjacent Dilmah Chef’s Skillery. For their second years involvement as a major sponsor of Taste of Melbourne, Dilmah Australia engaged Instinct Events to design and manage their brand activation campaign.
With the objective of enticing as many visitors as possible to visit Dilmah’s marquee and sample a range of selected tea’s, Dilmah and Instinct worked in collaboration to create what many described as the most stylish, welcoming and friendly experience at the event
Dilmah Brand Activation – Design Features
Designed to create a relaxing and stylish oasis, the Real High Tea marquee exuded the unique features of Dilmah’s brand and products: premium quality, taste and style. In designing this facility Instinct’s challenge was to not only make it inviting and enhance the Dilmah brand, but also make it functionally efficient for staff to serve 500+ tea and tasting plates per hour, and facilitate simultaneous product sales. The facility incorporated a functioning ‘back of house’ kitchen, product storage and displays, food displays, indoor and outdoor seating and lounge areas.
Dilmah Brand Activation – Ambassador’s
The adjacent Dilmah Chef’s Skillery, visually linked to the High Tea marquee with branded picket fencing, provided a facility for Dilmah Culinary Ambassador and renowned celebrity chef Peter Kuruvita, and other invited chefs, to showcase their skills in combining tea with gastronomy.
