Companies usually celebrate milestones and achievements with award nights. It’s an opportunity for company management to acknowledge achievements between teams and individuals.

Instinct produced and delivered the “Night with the Stars” for a second year in a row for this leading corporate client in the insurance and realestate sector.

This was an intimate affair in terms of guest numbers, however – the company didn’t skimp on the entertainment and rewards for their staff.

The event took place at the Sofitel Melbourne La Trobe Ballroom, Pre function drinks where at river level, Instinct produced a media wall complete with florals that set up a beautifully created red carpet type arrival for guests to then also be photographed by a professional  photographer.

Instinct’s managing director Richard Sayer took on the role of Master of Ceremonies for this black tie event, and also welcomed guests up stairs to commence all of the formalities for the evening.

Styling for the Award night

Cool modern centerpieces were created by Instinct to compliment this well setup room. All this was complete with golden sheers over black underlays. This sophisticated and elegant look was highly appreciated by both management and guests.

Awards Night Event

Awards nights – Acknowledgement & Fun in One Event

The company not only celebrated commercial achievements reached throughout the year, they also created some fun awards for a recent art based team building task and trivia night.

These fun awards included an “Encouragement Award” and also an “Ambidextrous” Award to celebrate participants.

Entertainment for Awards Night

Once the formalities, praise and awards for individuals and teams where over and done with the night turned into a big bucket of fun celebrating and dancing!

The client didn’t hold back, Instinct provided no other than Joe Camilleri an the Black Sorrows for a awesome 50 min set. On top of that, Australia’s top corporate cover band “Chunky Jam” took to the stage for the rest of the evening.

Big Stage Entertainment for an Intimate Event

We decided to increase the stage size for this event well beyond normal. This had two effects, firstly it made for great performances from both bands, as they had plenty of room to strut their stuff. Secondly it made for an easy change over between bands.

Having the larger stage also made sure the guests where closer to the entertainment, and had an added effect of a reduced dancefloor ensuring it looked and felt full when the bands came on.
